"Among those attending the Synod due solely to papal appointment are the following liberals or "moderates": Cardinals Godfried Danneels, Walter Kasper, Christoph Schonborn OP, Oscar Rodríguez Maradiaga, John Dew (a vocal supporter of communion for the "divorced and remarried" long before the current Pontificate), Donald Wuerl and Daniel Sturla SDB (more about him here); Archbishop Victor Manuel Fernández, Rector of the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina and one of the Pope's closest advisers and ghostwriters; Archbishop Blase Cupich of Chicago (USA), and Msgr. Pio Vito Pinto (Dean of the Roman Rota and head of the Pope's commission for annulment reform)."
The Pope had already appointed Cd. Baldisseri as secretary-general, Cd. Tagle as delegate president, Bp. Forte as "special secretary" along with other shadowy figures (Cd. Sodano and Cd. Tettamanzi, Fr. Spadaro).
They manipulated last year's synod and were surprised by the level of vocal resistance. Now they have learned form their errors and stacked the deck.
But, neverthelss, they will still manipulate the synod, just to be on the safe side (and because that's what they do for a living). Gagliardduci who has access to the cesspools of the Vatican explains what will happen:
"After an introduction, the Synod Fathers will be divided into small groups, and at the end there will be a final summary of the small group discussions that will not be released. There will be no mid-term report. At the end of the three weeks, there will be a sort of “synod report” that will be capped with a final address by Pope Francis. There will be no post-synodal apostolic exhortation, a decision intended to demonstrate that every discussion will be left open. The doctrinal revolution will thus not be achieved through precise documents, but through the exploitation of every vague expression that comes out of the synod"God Help Us.
"(...) Your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: whom resist stedfast in the faith" (I Peter V, 8-9).
